Free Cappuccino for Mother’s Day — And all Year Long!

I found a Mother’s Day gift that keeps giving — every day of the year!  It’s an electric milk frother that turns my plain morning coffee into the perfect cappuccino, latte or macchiato. You could call it a cappuccino hack or a latte hack!

You just pour a little milk into the pitcher and in seconds it creates a beautiful foam topping.  You can also heat milk with it for a cafe’ au lait or hot chocolate.

I used to stop at Starbucks or Caribou every day — and drop about $5 on my morning coffee.  I enjoyed that simple pleasure for a long time but eventually realized that there are three things certain in life:  Death, taxes and a long line at Starbucks.  Waiting in line started to really annoy me.  Whether you are in the store, or in the drive-thru — there is always a long line.  I started being late for things because I had to get my coffee and I had to wait in line…

Besides the the huge time drain — there’s the money factor.  Of course, we’ve all heard of the “Latte Factor” the money-saving strategy that entails cutting out small expenditures like daily lattes.  I said, this is getting ridiculous.  I’m spending $35 a week or $1,825 a year on my coffee habit–AND I’m driving myself crazy waiting in line.

Then, I found the coffee frother and it’s changed my life.  We always have a pot of coffee going in the morning and it just takes me a few seconds to froth the milk.  Sometimes I add a little flavored creamer, too.

I bought these cute stainless stencils  —  just for fun.

I add a little cinnamon and it puts a quick dose of luxury into my morning!

So treat yourself to a Mother’s Day present (birthday present, because I deserve it present…) that will put a smile on your face every morning, save you lots of time and put money back in your pocket.  My $1,825 is going into a vacation fund.  (My frother cost $99–so if you want to subtract that off you’re looking at $1,736 in savings–plus your coffee beans.) Talk about a win/win!

Happy Mother’s Day!
